During our first week back, we had fun making some 'half-and-half' caricatures of some of our teachers.  We got the idea from the Art Attack website.

A caricature is a representation of a person that is exaggerated for comic effect.

September 2004

Year 6 have been developing their creative talents, producing work showing:

Observations of figures in action,

Analysis of how facial expressions are represented, drawing their own and colouring them to represent their mood,

and used their skills of manipulation to distort facial images in the style of Picasso.
